I did it. I finally sat down and started this blog post. I made one about the Money Earning Apps In 2019, but that doesn't help those who don't have a phone/tablet, or the people who prefer to work from a PC/Laptop.
Let me start out by saying, I despise surveys. Unless I'm getting $2.00 for a 5 minute survey, it's not worth my time. And we all know a "30min" (*cough* 2hr) survey is only going to give you some measly points in a system where the conversion means you spent 2 hours to earn $0.01.
I want tasks where the payout nearly matches my full time day job. As in, if I cant earn at LEAST $10/hour, I'm wasting my time.
Now, I hit a point where I signed up for every "paying" site that came up in the first 5 pages of a Google Search. So, I've tried nearly all of them. If you don't see a website here, it's either on my list of Failed Money Making Sites, or I have not yet tried it.
'Blah blah blah Mary, c'mon we don't care for all this chatter Just tell us what works.' I'm sorry. Without further ado; my list of websites worth working for.
*This list was last updated April 2021. If you are curious about a website not seen here, please contact me in regards to trying them out for you!*
THE WEBSITES THAT PAY
User Testing Club- https://www.usertestingclub.com/
This is one is at the top of my list for a good reason. I don't remember when I signed up for them, probably around the time I tried being a website tester. Either way, randomly throughout the week I'll receive an email letting me know that a new 'micro-task' is ready. These micro tasks involve typing in a phrase on Google, finding a specific link, scrolling down to the area they ask, and reporting back with a specific phrase found on that website. It takes 2 minutes, and they pay $2 USD for it. Work won't be consistent, so you won't be able to quit your day job on this alone, but an extra $20 USD every month for approximately 10 minutes of my time is worth mentioning.
The pay:
$2USD/Micro-Task (Converts to $60/hr potential)
$Varies/Other Tasks
User Testing- https://www.usertesting.com/users/sign_in
Oh my- I almost lost this gem! With so many similar names, I couldn't remember who I had worked for. This website is great, and the tasks are super fun. After signing up and creating a profile, you let them know which devices you own/use. So for me, that was PC or Android. Whenever they have a job that can be performed on the device(s) you have, it will show up on your dashboard. They will record your screen and your voice as you follow the on-screen instructions, voicing your thought process as you go. It's no different than a tutorial video you would see a blogger do on Youtube, and trust me you'll get paid a lot quicker than a blogger!
The pay:
$10USD/Task paid out 7 days after completion.
The frequency of the tests depends on the quality of your work and how often you participate. Testers who get bad feedback and/or don't login often will receive less offers than those with high reviews and daily activity.
